About myself

One could say that sport has been with me from the day I was born, since my mother was a gymnast and my father was a hockey player. Since early childhood I was physically a very active boy and took up different sport disciplines. The first was athletics, which served as a foundation for physical development, then came karate and basketball but a professional level as a sportsman was achieved in volleyball. My professional career was stopped by an unfortunate car crash, but every cloud has a silver lining, because this is when I got my interest in physiotherapy. Whilst studying physiotherapy, I did my work experience with Latvian Olympic team, which gave the opportunity to work with high level athletes. As a Physiotherapist, I have worked with representatives of various sport disciplines and people with various levels of physical development.
